Dan Rueckert, Ph.D ABD

Welcome to my webpage!

I am currently a Ph.D candidate in curriculum, instruction and media technology with a language learning specialization at Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana. I have taken and passed my preliminary exams and am currently working on my dissertation. This has equipped me with the status of Ph.D ABD (all but dissertation). My dissertation is an analysis of the effects of disruptions of learning programs on the perceived fluency of professional baseball players.

My research interests are in the education of immigrant and migrant populations as well as the use of new technologies in the language classroom.

I have worked at various private and higher education associated language schools. I have also taught Spanish and English as a second language at the high school level. Links to a few of these schools are found on the left of this page. I am currently applying for teaching positions for the fall of 2007.
